Historic Springdale Cemetery Tours

Prairie Folklore Theatre Presents
The 15th Annual Historic Springdale Cemetery Tour

If you have never been this is your year!

Join us for a walking tour as we encounter voices from the past. From the man responsible for bringing public broadcasting to Peoria, Phillip Weinburg, to the young woman who went on a cross country crime spree with her 17 year old lover, Elizabeth Shippe, you're sure to learn some local history about some of the most incredible people buried in Peoria. Come and meet these two along with 4 other prominent members of Peoria's history.

Please invite your friends and spend a sunny afternoon in one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the Midwest.

We are bringing back our Friday evening programs Oct 6th and Oct 13th at 6:00pm.

We will host our regular programs on Saturdays and Sundays, Oct 7th, 8th, and Oct 14th and Oct 15th at 12:00pm and 2:00pm.

I attended the cemetery walk at Springdale Cemetery. I cannot find enough complimentary adjectives to describe my opinion of the performance. How about superb, great, splendid for a few? This was my first walk but I'll be back.... Kathy Friend
